Import a Subscription and Connect

Create an account, choose a plan, get your subscription, and import it into a client in that order. If you already have an account or subscription, pick up at the relevant step.

Menu labels may vary by operating system, client, and version. This guide uses common terms such as “Configuration,” “Subscription,” and “Import from URL” to describe where to find each option. Follow the current instructions in your dashboard for the exact buttons and installation steps. If a label differs, look for the equivalent function rather than matching the wording exactly.

Create an Account and Save Your Login Details

Open the account portal below and set a username and password in the dashboard. 88888888VPN does not require an email address; you can create an account with a username and password. You’ll use the username to sign in later. Choose a password you don’t use on other sites and save it in a trusted password manager. Before submitting, check for typos and make sure your username or password doesn’t include an accidental space from your input method.

Once processing is complete, follow the prompts to open your account overview. If you land on the sign-in page, log in with the username and password you just set. Don’t confuse the marketing site with the dashboard: your plan status, subscription link, client downloads, and support tickets are all in the dashboard. This page explains the process; it does not generate a subscription or provide installation files.

Once you’re in the overview, make sure you’re signed in to the right account before choosing a plan. If you already have an account, use the sign-in option instead of creating another one. If you have an active plan, skip to “Get Your Subscription.” If you can’t sign in, check your username, capitalization, and input method, then follow the dashboard prompts. Once your account details are confirmed, choose your data allowance and billing option.

Choose a Plan and Review Your Order

Open the plans section in the dashboard and compare monthly plans with data packages. Monthly plans are suited to regular use, with data resetting each month on the activation date. Data packages are used as needed and never expire. Don’t compare on price alone—check the data allowance and billing terms, too. You can use unlimited devices, but that doesn’t mean unlimited data: browsing, video, and file transfers all count toward your usage.

Monthly plans: ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data packages: ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB, and ¥658 for 3000GB. Light browsing and frequent video streaming have different data needs, so choose based on how often you use the service and check your actual usage in the account overview. If you upgrade a monthly plan mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Check the dashboard for the exact details.

Once you’ve chosen a plan, review the order details and confirm the plan name, price, and data allowance. Then pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. Follow the payment page prompts; if you’re redirected to a payment screen, return to the original order or account overview afterward to check the result. While the page is processing, don’t create the same order again or submit another payment.

Your plan needs to be active before you continue. If you’ve paid but the status hasn’t updated yet, check the order status again, then refresh your account overview. If the issue persists, open a support ticket through the dashboard and include your order details and the page message. Don’t include your password or subscription link. 88888888VPN offers a 30-day money-back guarantee. See the Terms of Service for details. Once your plan is active, get your subscription.

Get Your Subscription from the Account Overview

Return to the dashboard’s account overview and check your plan status and remaining data, then find the subscription option. The subscription link lets your client fetch route configurations; it is not a route address or an installation file. After import, the client reads the configuration and displays the available routes. Updates to route information are usually handled by refreshing this subscription, not by creating a new account.

If the dashboard offers one-click import for your client, open the installed client first, then use that option and confirm the prompt to open the app. For manual import, use the dashboard’s copy function to copy the full link to your clipboard. Some clients require a specific subscription format. If the dashboard offers format choices, select the one recommended for your client. Don’t change parameters in the link yourself.

There’s no need to paste the link into a chat to save it, and you should never upload it to a public conversion tool. Your subscription link may contain account-specific information, so protect it like a password. Hide the full link in screenshots and support tickets. The example below is for illustration only; it is not a 88888888VPN subscription and cannot be used to import routes:

https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN

If no usable subscription appears in your overview yet, first make sure you’re signed in to the account that purchased the plan, then check the order, plan status, and data balance. Don’t use another person’s link as a workaround. Once your subscription is available, go to the client downloads section, get the client for your device, and continue with the import steps below.

Import a Client on Each Platform

Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, and Linux are supported. Start with the 88888888VPN client and instructions provided in your dashboard; available downloads depend on your account’s plan status. This page does not provide public download links. After installing the client, import your subscription, then select a configuration and route. Installing the client alone won’t connect you until a configuration is enabled.

Windows: Add a Configuration from a Link

In the dashboard, choose the desktop client for Windows and follow the installation instructions. If Windows displays a permissions prompt, check the app’s source and name before continuing with the installation. In the client, look for “Configuration,” “Subscription Manager,” or a similar page. Choose the option to add a configuration, then import it from a URL or link.

Paste the full subscription link you copied earlier, give the configuration a recognizable name, then save or confirm the import. Once the client loads it successfully, you should see the configuration and route list. Select the configuration, then open the connection or proxy page; don’t close the window immediately after adding it. If the client supports a system proxy, enable the relevant toggle, then use the verification steps at the end of this page to check browser access. There’s no need to adjust advanced modes such as a virtual network adapter during your first import.

macOS: Check Proxy Permissions After Import

Get the macOS desktop client from the dashboard, install it, and open the main window or menu bar. In Configuration, Profiles, or the subscription manager, choose Add Remote Configuration, paste the subscription link, and save it. If one-click import from the dashboard opens the app, check that the new configuration was saved and selected.

Once the configuration loads, follow the client prompts to enable the connection or system proxy. macOS may ask you to approve a network extension or related permission. Check which app the prompt refers to before granting access. If another network proxy app is running, pause its connection first to avoid both apps changing the system proxy. When the route list appears, choose a region. A menu bar icon changing doesn’t confirm that everything works—verify your exit IP and access to the target website.

Android: Import and Grant VPN Permission

Choose the Android client in the dashboard and install it using the current instructions. Open the configuration or subscription page, choose Add from Link, paste the full subscription link, and save it. Once it loads, enable the configuration, choose a route, and tap Connect. When Android asks to set up a VPN connection, confirm the request comes from the client you just installed before allowing it.

After connecting, keep the app in the foreground and use a browser to check access. If it works in the foreground but disconnects when you switch apps or turn off the screen, check the system’s battery or background app settings for restrictions on the client. Menu labels vary across devices; follow your system’s guidance to allow the background activity the app needs. There’s no need to change battery settings for every app. You can return to the client and refresh the subscription to confirm the configuration still loads correctly.

iOS: Get a Client from the Dashboard

Get an iOS client using the App Store link and current instructions in the dashboard; don’t use a static installation file from this page. After installation, open a client that supports subscription imports and look for “Subscription,” “Configuration,” or Add Remote Configuration. If one-click import is available in the dashboard, allow it to open the client, then check that the configuration was added. For manual import, paste the subscription link and save it.

Select the configuration you just imported, open the route list, and connect. On the first connection, iOS may ask to add a VPN configuration. Check the app name, then follow the prompts to allow it. The VPN status only shows that the connection has been enabled; it doesn’t prove that the target service is reachable. After switching regions, open the target website again to check access instead of relying only on the status bar.

Linux: Choose a Configuration Format Using the Dashboard Instructions

Linux users can get the client and configuration instructions from the dashboard, then import the subscription from the subscription or remote configuration menu. Desktop environments, proxy routing methods, and permission settings vary. First make sure the configuration loads, then enable the proxy as instructed. For system services, proxy settings for terminal apps, or more complete platform setup, see the user guide. This page focuses on importing, connecting, and verifying.

A successful import means the configuration is saved, selectable, and displayed with a route list. Being able to open the subscription link in a browser—or simply having the client installed—doesn’t mean the configuration is enabled.

Connect to a Route and Verify It Works

Return to the client, make sure the configuration you just imported is enabled, and choose a route that matches the region required by your target service. For everyday browsing, start with a nearby region. For region-specific content or AI tools, check which regions the service supports before choosing an exit location. See the routes page for details on route types and regions; there’s no need to test every region when getting started.

After connecting, open this site’s My IP page and check your browser’s exit information. Compare it before and after connecting to see whether it matches the selected route region. An IP lookup can fail to return results if the lookup request itself fails; that alone doesn’t show that the client is broken. Also open the website you actually need and check whether it loads, lets you sign in, and supports the features you use.

If the client says it’s connected but your browser’s exit IP hasn’t changed, check that the right configuration is selected, the system proxy or VPN toggle is on, and the browser isn’t using a direct-connection rule. In rule mode, different websites may use different routes, so the exit shown for one site may not represent every app. Don’t change several settings at once. Check the toggles and rules first, then reload the verification page.

If the route list is empty or the configuration update fails, return to your account overview to check your plan status and remaining data. Copy the subscription link again and refresh the configuration in the client. If only the target website is inaccessible while other sites work, check the target service’s regional requirements, account eligibility, and current status. Route connectivity and a website’s access rules are separate issues; not every error has the same cause.

Once you’ve verified the connection, keep the working configuration and enable it when needed. You can refresh the subscription in the client and check usage and plan status in the dashboard. Avoid repeatedly deleting the configuration and reinstalling the app, as this can remove settings that already work. For persistent disconnects, app rules, or other advanced issues, see the complete user guide. If you still can’t resolve the issue, open a support ticket in the dashboard with your operating system, client name, selected region, and the exact message you see. Hide your account credentials and subscription link.

Routine Checks After Setup

Keep the working configuration, check your plan status, and distinguish subscription loading issues from route connection problems and website access issues. The user guide covers maintenance, renewals, and advanced settings.
